STRENGTHENING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING IN NON FORMAL EDUCATION

On 15 December, Project “Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Training in Non formal Education” closing conference was held in Lolita conference hall. Project manager, Nino Kodua presented project’s goals and implemented activities. Lasha Labadze, executive director, international school of economics (ISET) policy institute, made a speech about “importance of vocational education fpr economic development of Georgia”; Tamta Maridashvili, researcher at International school of economics (ISET), spoke about importance of communication and coordination on the example of ISET and GAEN cooperation; David Kardava, executive partner and founder of consulting company “C-team”, presented topic “From Startup to successful company”; Director of children and youth development fund of the ministry of sport and youth affairs of Georgia, Irakli Jorjoliani presented social entrepreneurship experience in Georgia and world experience.

The best business ideas: “giraffe Jose” of  Studio Becycle and “Sakishore camping” of Natia Maisashvili, Teo Foladashvili were awarded. The winner were selected by technical evaluation panel. Georgian Adult Education Network will finance their prototype.

The project “Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Training in Non formal Education” within the framework of the small grants scheme of Industry-led skills and Workforce Development (ISWD) project of Millenium Challenge Account-Georgia, funded by USA Millenium Challenge Corporation is implemented by the Georgian Adult Education Network.
